With six days to go for the UNESCO to announce the seven wonders of the world, Bollywood has got its act straight.
On Sunday, some celebrities appealed to Indians all over the world to vote for the Taj.
“India has got recognition because of Taj Mahal,” said Ravi Kishen, actor.
“Taj and India are synonymous,” added Shabana Azmi.
In the race to be one of the seven wonders of the world, the Taj faces fierce competition.
To win the wonder tag, its not just Bollywood that is asking for votes but also members of Parliament and sports stars.
“I am thankful to those who have come forward,” said Sanjay Nirupam, MP, Congress.
“I am requesting every one and my fraternity to vote for the Taj,” said Dhanraj Pillai, hockey player.
With comedian Raju Shrivastav doing his bit, the Taj might just laugh its way to the prestigious list.
With all good wishes, the Taj is sure to win.
