Sex workers in a Bihar town are campaigning for the Taj Mahal’s inclusion into the new “seven wonders of the world” list by asking people to cast their vote for the monument of love.

Prostitutes in Muzaffarpur are moving from one street to another with banners, placards and posters requesting people to vote for the Taj Mahal.

“We are doing it in our own small way to promote the 17th century monument of love,” According to Shahnaj Bano, a sex worker participating in the campaign.

For last many days, these women are walking through the narrow lanes, markets and residential areas of the town spreading awareness about the campaign.

“Our message is clear-vote for Taj Mahal, a symbol of love, peace and harmony,” According to sex worker Kanchan Devi.

The new list of “seven wonders of the world” will be released in Portugal on July 7. The marble mausoleum has already made it to the top ten monuments of the world.
